As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a welcoming, security-related environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements and site procedures.
• Monitor entry points and credentialing processes, verify authorization for access, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
