Security Guard - Per Diem/PRN
About the role
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital is committed to providing exceptional and compassionate care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas.
As a Security Guard, you are responsible for maintaining overall security of the facility, including the protection of patients, employees, and hospital property. The Security Guard is responsible for the enforcement of hospital safety and security policies, performing required rounds and dealing with emergencies as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall security of the facility, protecting patients, employees, and hospital property

- Respond to and manage emergencies as they arise
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state-issued driver's license in good standing
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience
Qualifications
- Previous hospital security or corporate security experience preferred
Schedule
Per Diem (PRN) — includes weekday and weekend shifts: 12am–8am, 8am–4pm, and 4pm–12am.
Per Diem Requirement: Must be available to work six (6) shifts per six (6) week schedule; three (3) must be on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
Compensation
$19.50 per hour
