Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assisting staff, visitors, and patients with access-related questions and/or reporting concerns according to post instructions.
- Support daily operations by observing activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and/or following Allied Universal protocols for escalations and incident communication.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
