About the role
As a Security Guard Patrol Agent in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation parking location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, pedestrian walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or rule violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle traffic patterns, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
- Aid visitors, employees, and/or members of the public with directions, general information, and support related to access procedures and site expectations.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
