Security Guard Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with traffic flow, visitor directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and other customer service needs in a busy retail and mall environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
