Allied Universal® is North America’s leading security and facility services company. As a Security Guard Patrol in Jonestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as retail and malls. This part‑time, unarmed patrol position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to claim additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and unauthorized access, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, directions, customer inquiries, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with any state or local licensing requirements that may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

$15.91 per hour

• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
