Security Guard Patrol Access Monitoring

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, billing areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain access control activities by monitoring access to restricted areas and verifying credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to designated personnel and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Document patrol activity, access concerns, incidents, and unusual conditions through clear and accurate reports.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
