Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Verify visitor credentials, manage access requests, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with healthcare location requirements.
• Monitor front-desk activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate departments, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Support a professional and welcoming healthcare environment while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
