Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Protection Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hospitality location in Williamsburg, VA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
