About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location in Charlotte, NC, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have 3+ years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
