About the role
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and skilled workforce. We are currently seeking experienced professionals with backgrounds in military, law enforcement, or security to join our team as Resilience Officers.
Responsibilities
- Provide access control operations, including verifying proper ID and credentials.
- Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site.
- Liaise with first responder personnel if and when there is an emergency.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner.
- Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes).
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining a current guard card.
- Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/First aid certification from a recognized certification authority.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Qualifications
- All applicants must be able to pass the Resilience Officer Physical Agility Test (ROPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.

Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, including a base hourly rate of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, and the opportunity to work as a part-time position.
