About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, NC, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and follow established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
