As a Part‑Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) at a logistics and distribution location in Atlanta, GA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries, and deliver exceptional customer service while responding to routine needs. Flexibility is built into the role via the Claim a Shift platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site‑specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements mandated by state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Pay

$15.37 per hour.

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
