About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and the Allied Universal team, report maintenance or security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for all authorized occupants and guests.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have access control and badge experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$24.60 / hour

• Sunday: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
