As a Part‑Time Unarmed Security Guard in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial settings, providing flexible scheduling through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site‑specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, office, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
