As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and reporting access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services or Allied Universal leadership as directed.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and observations in clear, timely reports while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
