Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public education location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Bring strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that puts people first.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Pay and schedule

Part Time position with a pay rate of $18.87 / Hour.

Schedule: Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Tuesday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.
