About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Help support a professional work environment by maintaining a visible presence, communicating respectfully with personnel, and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
