Security Guard (Part Time - Sat/Sun)
About the role
The role involves patrolling and monitoring the company's premises to ensure safety and security, evicting trespassers, logging in/out of trucks, and providing detailed reports to management.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company's premises
- Evicting trespassers and violators
- Detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Logging in and out trucks, sending them to their docks, and checking their seals
- Making a 7-point inspection on trucks
- Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Writing detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios
- Calling police or fire departments in case of emergency
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience as a security guard
- Age 18 or older
- Valid Drivers License and Security Guard card
Qualifications
Must be able to remain calm and rational in emergencies, exhibit excellent communication skills, and work independently.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $16.50 to $25.70 per hour. Actual placement within the range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including qualifications, education, experience, and internal equity.
Schedule
This is a part-time role with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-4:30pm, totaling 16 hours per week.
