Security Guard (Part Time - Sat/Sun)
Functional Responsibility
This is a part-time role. The shift and schedule for this role is on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am-4:30pm - 16 hours a week.
Essential Duties
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
- Loading and unloading trucks, sending them to their docks and checking their seals on their way out
- Performing a 7-point inspection on trucks
- Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
- Calls police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as a fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed

Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience as a security guard
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Drivers License
- Valid Security Guard card

- Must be able to remain calm and rational in emergencies
- Exhibit excellent communication skills
- Written and verbal communication

- Ability to work independently
Working Conditions
- General office and winery working conditions
- Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations
- Exposure to weather-related temperature & humidity extremes
- Extended Hours
- Shift Rotation
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment

California Pay Transparency Disclaimer
This is a Non-Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $16.50 to $25.70. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.

Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
