About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence at a client location in West Palm Beach, FL. You will greet visitors, manage access procedures, monitor security-related activity, communicate professionally with staff and guests, and respond to concerns with integrity and care. This is a part-time position with the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access to the location, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions and general information, and communicate visitor or service-provider arrivals to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.67 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
