Security Guard Part Time - Property Access

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, grounds, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the hotel or resort location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain clear communication with hotel staff, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
