Security Guard Part Time Patrol Response

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and promptly report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, customer and associate inquiries, and documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
