Security Guard Part Time Patrol Response

About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.62 / hour

- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
