As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, utility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures; document access-related activity and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
