Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, vendor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with location policies.
• Support emergency response activities, prepare clear incident reports, and communicate observed issues to supervisors and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
