Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, assist with crowd management, and address customer or staff concerns as needed.
• Communicate with store leadership, employees, and/or local responders regarding incidents, suspicious activity, and other security-related matters occurring on site.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
