Security Guard - Part Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. You will be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including warehouse areas, loading/unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic; verify credentials, follow post orders, and document unusual events.
• Support asset protection efforts by observing trailer yards, dock doors, gates, and high-traffic areas for potential security-related concerns and notifying site contacts as needed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Schedule

• Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Pay

$22.66 per hour
