Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while delivering responsive customer service.

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
