Security Guard Part Time Nights

About the role

As a Concierge Security Officer at GardaWorld Security Services in Melville, NY, you will focus on customer service while working with people on all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. Your ability to build meaningful connections, engage with others, and inspire confidence is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• NYS security license required
• Medical clearance required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19.50

Schedule

Part-time, Friday‑Sunday, 4 pm‑12 am, 24 hours weekly
