Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate departments or locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
