About the Role

As a Part‑Time Security Guard – Entrance Control at a logistics and distribution location in Fairless Hills, PA, you will manage entry points, monitor access activity, verify credentials, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Your visible presence, professional communication, and attention to detail will deter security‑related incidents while supporting exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors entering or exiting the facility.
• Monitor access points, gates, and visitor activity; maintain accurate visitor logs and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
