As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic, verify visitor and vendor access as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
