Security Guard - Part Time

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a part-time Security Guard with a strong focus on customer service for a site in Santa Clara, CA.

About the role

As a Security Officer – Concierge, you will engage with people across all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Your ability to build meaningful connections and inspire confidence is key.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service: welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during hiring)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months of security experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills (tech-savvy)
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Schedule

• Part-time, 16 hours per week
• Set schedule: Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $24.50 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
