Security Guard - Part Time

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will use your sharp eye to monitor screens, spot threats before they escalate, and work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position is based in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Able to ace and pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – a plus
• State license if required

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $20.50 (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Schedule

Part-time, Saturday‑Sunday (5:15 AM‑1:15 PM), First Shift, 16 hours per week
