Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or responding authorities.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour
