About the role
As a Part-Time Armed Driver Patrol Security Guard in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATMs, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$18.52 per hour
Schedule

- Day shift: Monday–Tuesday, 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
