Security Guard - Overnights - Access Control

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or loading and receiving zones, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, screening deliveries and/or visitors as directed, and reporting unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or policy violations to site leadership.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
