Security Guard-Overnight

About the role

Mint Cannabis is seeking a Security Guard to provide vigilant protection and compliance for our facilities, employees, and patients. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of security experience, strong situational awareness, and a calm demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to deter theft, vandalism, or suspicious activity
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities
• Monitor entrances, exits, and facility access to ensure only authorized personnel and customers are present
• Enforce all security protocols, company policies, and state cannabis compliance requirements
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and helping staff and patients feel at ease
• Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience - retail, event, or facility, preferred
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Willingness to travel between nearby locations when needed
• A positive, helpful attitude — you’re the first and last impression for many guests
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Facility Agent Card (or equivalent) if required by your state
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid government-issued ID
• Pass a criminal background check

Pay

$16.00/hr ($3.00 overnight differential from 12:00 am - 5:00 am)
