Security Guard/Officer

About the role

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard/Officer to ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the hotel premises to monitor and ensure security
• Monitor security systems and respond to emergencies
• Enforce hotel policies in a professional manner
• Report to the Director of Security, Director of Finance, or General Manager
• Respond to incidents and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Qualifications

• No educational minimum is required
• Previous experience in this exact position (hotel experience is a plus)
• A combination of education and experience
