Security Guard - Morning Patrol

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in the Greater Los Angeles Area, California. This position offers competitive hourly wages of $21 per hour, a robust benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and networking.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide a welcoming and professional presence across the venue
• Aid with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits
• Control ingress and egress for both guests and employees
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Complete additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Have strong report writing skills
• Have good eyesight and excellent focus
• Have strong proficiency with technology
• Have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience (preferred)
