Security Guard Morning Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Presence in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial-services offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and employee credentials as directed, and document security-related observations, incidents, and shift activities.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and promptly reporting unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

Daytime, Monday through Friday, 01:00 PM - 08:00 PM
