What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Possess customer service experience (preferred).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
