Security Guard Mobile Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a government transportation location. You will provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Maintain visibility to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication.
• Support daily operations by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or hazard-related concerns, and following post orders for assigned locations and schedules.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
