Security Guard Licensed Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a positive and orderly environment.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
