About the role

This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Canyon Lake, CA, you’ll have reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six-month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time one week and full-time the next—up to 40 hours per week—with the option to scale back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and complete required reports.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, property representatives, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to ride a bike.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.57 per hour.

Schedule

• Saturday: 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM – 08:30 PM
