Security Guard/House Manager

Basic Function

Maintain the security of the building and operate firefighting equipment as necessary.

Reporting Line

Reports to Security Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintains security watches at building entrance and patrols building to ensure safety of residents, noting and correcting irregularities (i.e., open doors, windows, etc.).
• Maintains activity log and completes incident reports as required.
• Inspects and maintains security equipment as directed.
• Affords assistance in fire drills as directed.
• Performs daily check of fire safety equipment, logging conditions encountered, and filling out service requests as needed.
• Affords assistance to residents and staff, as needed, to maintain the orderly functioning of the residence.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience.
