Building Security Guard

About the role

This role is within Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, and is the premier provider of armored car transportation, currency and coin processing, ATM servicing, and other value-added services to financial institutions, retailers, and other commercial and government entities.

Responsibilities

• Verify bank deposits, prepare cash shipments, and connect money from one place to the next.
• Guard and maintain the safety and security of our employees, vault, and liability at all times.
• Prepare outbound orders and replenishments for the next day’s routes.
• Maintain and monitor performance of processes and machines to ensure efficiency.
• Complete data entry for all transactions of liability.
• Generate and maintain all records and reports daily.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Data Entry skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Valid firearms permit OR ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements.
• Ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses.
• Ability to work collaboratively in our branch locations.
• Satisfactory completion and maintenance of all required internal training applicable to the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in at least one of the following: cash handling, inventory control, deposit processing, vault balancing, account reconciliation, ATM processing, cashier/teller experience.
• Military background preferred.

Pay

Pay Range (Specific to OHI,DEL,NY,CA,CO,WA,MD,CT,IL,NV,,KY,MI,NJ,ME,MO,MA,MT): $21.96 - $26.24 Hourly
