About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What you'll do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, assisting with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting unusual conditions to site leadership
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Pay & schedule

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
