About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, hazards, damaged property, and unusual activity while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
